Welcome to the magical world of Adiboo.
We are pleased to introduce you to Adiboo, our wise and acclaimed extraterrestrial.
Adiboo introduces your child into his colourful and lively land, where there are a lot of things to do and many friends to be made.
Intelligent Adiboo is an expert in teaching children how to read and count in a most entertaining and supporting manner. As a result, your child will be drawn back to Adiboo time after time, whilst developing a lifelong love of learning.
In his wonderful world, Adiboo offers your child two sections:
Adiboo's Land: discover the 10 activities in Adiboo's land, look after the animals and plants in the garden, play fun games in the house...Adiboo's land is a 'living' world that grows with your child whilst teaching responsibility and creative skills.
The Lessons: I can read and I can count access Adiboo's world of knowledge with, in total, 30 exercises covering 3 levels of difficulty.
Adiboo I can read and I can count is available for ages 4-5 and 6-7. For the older age group, Coktel has developed Adi (English and Maths) a unique series that teaches children in-depth on the two core subjects. Adi is based on the National Curriculum and Scottish National Guidelines and supports SATS and GCSE. Adi (English and Maths) is available for Year 3 to 10 (age 7 to 15.) Please ask your retailer or contact our Customer Services for more information on Adi.
The base games had 5 expansion disks released between 1996 et 1999.

The easiest way I was able to get it working is by extracting the .bin or .cue files into a folder then using the ScummVM emulator that you can download for free. Go to "add game" on ScummVM and choose the folder where you extracted the game files. 3 options should pop up, French, German and Italian, all 3 have German audio, but French and Italian have their respective language in what's written.

ok got working on SteamDeck with ScummVM
TLDR:
Extract ADIBOO.iso & put folder into ScummVM roms folder.
Add scummVM shortcut to steam with param for adibou2-win-gb.
"/usr/bin/flatpak" run org.scummvm.ScummVM adibou2-win-gb
Full process:
SteamDeck DesktopMode
- DiscoverStore ScummVM (may already have it installed from EmuDeck)
- Dolphin (folderBrowser) /home/deck/Downloads (or where ever you downloaded the ADIBOO.iso
- ADIBOO.iso RightClick Extract Extract here to AutoDetect Subfolder
- Drag/Cut the new ADIBOO folder into
/home/deck/Emulation/roms/scummvm/
- Steam Add a Game ScummVM
- Steam ScummVM Manage (cog) Properties
TARGET : "/usr/bin/flatpak" run org.scummvm.ScummVM adibou2-win-gb
START IN : /user/bin
LAUNCH OPTIONS :
- Play :)
For the expansions, apparently you repeat the same but have them in separate folders

is there a no cd patch?
put on SteamDeck, but even though i copied content of CD out into a folder before installing from that directory, soon as I UnMount the iso, game stops working, although the contents still on SSD

Despite what the description says, this is not the United States release. This is the european english release. There is a difference in the dubbing.

To get this to work you have a number of options. Some here have suggested using a virtual machine to run win 98 and to then use the VM to boot the game. I went a different route and installed a PC emulator (PCem v17) which essentially emulates the physcial components of a retro PC like cpu/gpu and installed Win 98 SE to that emulated PC. There are many guides about this on youtube but you need at least somewhat descent specs on your rig to run it.

How can I download this?! I have Windows 11 on my Microsoft Surface Pro. I have downloaded it from so many sites, including this one, and I cannot get it to work. I downloaded virtual box and cannot figure out how to get it to work. I cannot find any tutorials online. Ugh, I am so frustrated.
