How Echo Keys works
Echo Keys teaches touch typing by sound. The game tells you which key to press. When you press the right key, you hear the letter and a happy chime that climbs higher with every correct key in a row. When you press a wrong key, you hear a soft buzz, the key you pressed, and the key to find. After two misses, the game describes where the key is on the keyboard and which finger to use.
- Start with your fingers on the home row. Feel the small bumps on the F and J keys: your index fingers rest there.
- Word lessons announce the word and spell it. Each letter is spoken as you type it, and the full word is spoken when you finish.
- After each lesson, you hear your score and accuracy, and you earn up to 3 stars.
